Wanda is still missing. This poor family has to suffer through not one but two tragic hardships. Hopefully, they get answers soon.

Grandmother goes missing 17 years after daughter disappears

The Walker family is now doubly in grief and fear because Walker’s own mother disappeared around Oct. 5 after not reporting for work that day at Dollar Tree on Franklin Pike.

Her Nissan Maxima was later found by police in the area of Wade Avenue on Oct. 13. The car was locked. Neighbors told police it had been in the area for about a week.

She was living in the 1400 block of 11th Avenue South with a relative when she disappeared.

“I just want to have my granny back and I want to see my mama again,” Rayvon Walker said. “I just try to keep my head up.”

[h=1]Family Celebrates Missing Woman's Birthday[/h]
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - It's a day most people are excited to celebrate, but for one family, Wanda Walker's birthday was a day that brought grief.
The family has still been hoping the missing woman will find her way back home.
Saturday was Wanda Walker's 61st birthday, but a day of celebration turned into an emotional one.
"We just don't want to go five, six, seven years without knowing. So my prayer is that who's ever involved is to come forward and tell us what they know because someone out there knows something," Chambers said.

Police noted there was a significant amount of blood in the backseat of the Nissan, and they later determined the blood was Wanda's.
