There was another body (male) found on the same road albeit in 1979. He was one of 3 UIDs exhumed this year.

Bear Creek John Doe

The inscription on the dead mans four-strand gold bracelet was a question mark for investigators in 1979.

The bracelet, the gold ring on the little finger of his right hand, and the white pair of socks worn underneath a black pair are among the few identifiers investigators found when they discovered the mans body on White Haven Road in Bear Creek Township on May 28, 1979, according to an article that appeared on the front page of the Times Leader the following day.

The man a white male between the age of 25 and 40 was dressed in a black, long-sleeve silk shirt and tan trousers that sported a white pinstripe, the newspaper article says.

Dr. George Hudock, a former county coroner who died in 2005, estimated the man had been shot and killed about two weeks earlier. He ruled the death a homicide.

BEAR CREEK TWP. An autopsy was performed Tuesday on a womans body found off White Haven Road Monday night

The state police issued a news release on Tuesday that said results of the autopsy will not be released until lab tests are finished.

Officials Thursday announced the dismembered remains found strewn about a wooded area in Bear Creek Township earlier this year belonged to a Montgomery County girl missing since summer and the teen’s mother is accused of obstructing investigators’ efforts to locate her.

The remains of Grace Packer, 14, of Abington Township, were discovered near the Francis Walter Dam on Oct. 31 by two hunters... The girl’s death has been ruled a homicide.

Romulus noticed on the 23/11/16 that the body had been removed from Namus. LE must have been waiting until they had enough evidence to make an arrest before making Grace's identity public.

Authorities did not specify when the remains were identified, saying only that investigators had known they belonged to Grace Packer for "a while" before Thursday's press conference.
