Foul play is suspected in the disappearance of an 87 year old woman, Betty Mcnabb, and her 65 year old son, Kenneth, from rural Pleasanton, Linn County, Kansas. Google Maps generates their address to the following location (does not appear to be entirely accurate, no house at the exact location shown), not far from the Missouri state line:

The home is considered a crime scene and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation is on scene. One person of interest is already in custody for questioning.

David Mcnabb is charged with second-degree murder, criminal desecration of a body and interference with a law enforcement officer.

In a hearing Thursday, David Mcnabb was found competent to stand trial .

He's charged with the first degree murders of his 65-year-old uncle Ken Mcnabb and 87-year-old grandmother Betty Mcnabb.

A preliminary hearing is set for January 16-17, 2018, at 9 am in Linn County, Kansas District Court.

32-year-old David McNabb plead no contest today (April 11, 2018) to two counts of first degree premeditated murder, one count of felony theft and one count of interference with law enforcement. District Court Judge Mark Ward accepted the plea and found McNabb guilty of the crimes. Sentencing is scheduled for September 5th at 9:30 a.m. in Linn County District Court.
