Oh man, I hope they are taking her seriously. I don't want her ending up like Bobbie Maples.

CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The body of a missing Cabell County woman has been found, according to Cabell County Sheriff Tom McComas.

Sheriff McComas says Nicola Grove’s, 35, body was found in a wooded area near Milton on Saunders Creek Road.
According to investigators Grove’s boyfriend, Benjamin R. Harshbarger, 36, told them he hid her body there after she overdosed, and took investigators to where he hid her.

In the final hour before he was set for trial Tuesday, an Ona man instead admitted to concealing the body of 35-year-old Nicola Grove after she overdosed in 2016, as well as to unrelated drug charges that preceded her death.

Benjamin Harshbarger was sentenced in Cabell County Circuit Court Friday to 3-15 years.

He pleaded guilty last month to concealing a dead body and two counts of delivery of a controlled substance.

Investigators say Harshbarger took the body of Nicola Grove to a wooded area and left it there in November 2016. Her body was found six days later.

A Cabell County Circuit Court judge has denied a defendant's motion for a more lenient sentencing after he admitted to concealing the body of 35-year-old Nicola Grove when she died in 2016.

Harshbarger is currently eligible for parole on Nov. 11, 2019, and he has a projected release date of 2024.

Request for lesser sentence in body concealment case denied
