NY - Yasmin Seweid, 18, Nassau County, 3 Dec 2016

Teen who says she was harassed by Trump supporters goes missing

A Muslim teen who said she was called a “terrorist” by a group of men harassing her on the subway earlier this month has been reported missing, police sources said.

Yasmin Seweid, 18, of New Hyde Park, was reported missing by her father on Thursday, prompting the Nassau County Police Department to open an investigation, according to police sources. The teen, who attends Baruch College, hasn’t shown up at school since Dec. 2, sources said.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

The fact that she left with clothes in a bag leads me to believe this was planned. Her allegations of the alleged harassment hasn't been confirmed by LE as far as I can tell. I hope she's safe somewhere.

Just read a news story about her disappearance. In reading her FB, I notice a change in the comments since her disappearance.

I do hope she is safe and is able to return to her family soon.

Is there any evidence to suggest that she lied? There are any number of possibilities, I suppose, but regardless, the best outcome would be for her to return home safely and unharmed.
