Investigators say a 49-year-old man was viciously beaten by a group of men in the cityís Entertainment District in October by a group who commented on the victimís sexual orientation before setting upon him.

Toronto police say that on Oct. 7 at 1:08 a.m., the victim and a friend were walking west on King Street West near John Street when they passed a group of men.
Someone in the group made a comment about the victimís sexual orientation, police said.
