newsEngin.17219122_combo-pic-missing-woman.jpg

The*Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office*is asking for help to locate a 47-year-old woman who was last seen at her suburban*Boca Raton*residence Monday.

The sheriff’s office said though Pino does not have any illness, “it is unlike her character to go missing.”

Feliciano-Pino, 47, was last seen on the night of Dec. 19, leaving her home west of the city in her 2011 gray-green Toyota RAV 4 with Florida tag HBGY58.

On the Monday she went missing, her son said he spoke with her throughout the day because he was Christmas shopping and wanted to know what size clothes his nieces wore and what she wanted.

On Tuesday morning, her son got a call from his aunt asking if he had heard from his mother. Sometime Monday night, she explained, Feliciano-Pino left her residence and hadn’t returned.

So far, investigators haven’t been able to track her phone because it’s either been turned off or its battery has died. There’s been no activity in her bank accounts or credit card, and none of the neighbors interviewed remembered seeing her leaving and her car hasn’t turned up anywhere.

Loraine “Lori” Feliciano-Pino had planned a weeklong trip with her family for Christmas before she went missing.

The Boca Raton-area resident’s newly married son and his wife, her daughter and her son-in-law who live in Orlando with their two daughters and her husband were all headed north to celebrate the holidays. All of her gifts were bought and ready to hand out to the little girls she adores so much, her sister Rosannie Feliciano said.

She sounds like a wonderful person.

Her family cannot understand how she could just disappear without telling anyone. Feliciano said after their parents died many years ago, Feliciano-Pino became the makeshift matriarch of the four siblings. She throws parties, is always the first person to help out with anything and if you needed someone to talk to at 2 a.m. she’d be first to pick up the phone.

Otero said his mother is “the strongest person” he knows and is always giving to others.

I agree leaving at 8p.m. is odd to me.

I read from the second link posted by Jersey girl that she isnt a night driver.

Recently, more than two dozen detectives from the sheriff’s Violent Crimes Division conducted a “thorough search” or parking lots along Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach to Atlantic Boulevard in Pompano Beach “from the ocean to the Everglades,” according to the sheriff’s office. Over time, the sheriff’s office have flown its helicopter over waterways in the county and sent divers into the Loxahatchee Canal, but no sign of Feliciano-Pino.

Her son previously said that investigators haven’t been able to track her phone because it’s either died or the battery died. There’s been no activity on her bank account and her car is still missing.

Has it been said where her phone last pinged though?

IN NamUs under circumstances I don't recall reading that she and her husband had a verbal fight and he stayed at a hotel.

Nice catch LisaW
At first I read it as *she* stayed at a hotel after the argument (I've been known to do that) -- but *he* stayed at a hotel.
Hmmmm...
I'm assuming he has the reciept (and the cctv was checked for his entering the room... and staying in it...)
She just happens to go missing the one night he coincidentally isn't home?

"A Palm Beach sheriff’s detective says Pino and her husband were considering separating and the two of them had an argument about marital issues shortly before she left the house that day.

Pino’s husband, who is not considered a suspect, is providing information to the agency through his attorney, a sheriff’s detective said."

(story was 30 March)

Could she have been upset enough over the argument to consider self-harm?
Seems like she has a supportive, loving family.
I wonder --did she leave the house before, or after the husband went to the hotel?

I just happen to be checking up on older cases.

Also, I need to look back as I don't recall who saw her leave the house. It do recall she doesn't drive at night or doesn't like driving at night. I think she left at or near dark.
It has been a while since I have read the circumstances that were provided.

I do wonder what the verbal argument was about?

ETA Whiskers16 showed me that on another case as more was in the NamUs post.

She was found deceased in her SUV submerged in a canal in Boca. They were draining due to the hurricane coming and found it. So sad.

ne-month mystery was solved when water levels in West Boca canals were lowered in advance of Hurricane Irma and a partially submerged vehicle was spotted.

Family members say they have been told that investigators found the body of Loraine “Lori” Feliciano-Pino, who went missing shortly before Christmas.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office has not yet officially released the identity of the person whose body was found. Additional details will be released once the person’s identity is confirmed, the sheriff’s office said.
