The Atlantic County Prosecutors Office identified Jacqueline Hoyle as the 24-year-old woman found dead early Tuesday morning in Atlantic City. On Thursday, officials ruled her manner of death a homicide.
The New Jersey Southern Regional Medical Examiner Office's autopsy said Hoyle died from a single gunshot wound.

Joseph McCoy, 43, is accused of killing Jacqueline Hoyle, 23, who was found dead at 4:22 a.m. in their apartment on North Tennessee Avenue.
Authorities have not yet found or arrested McCoy, prosecutor's spokesman Jay McKeen said in a statement.
