Angelia M. Warf, 37, was found in her apartment at 906 Harrison Ave. by her roommate around 4:45 a.m. Neighbors say Warf was living in the house with two other men. She took the middle floor, while one man lived in the basement and another in the top floor.

Beloit Police Deputy Chief Norm Jacobs said detectives have interviewed a number of people, including Warf's roommates. Investigators also spoke to Warf's husband, who was not in the area at the time of the homicide.

They have not found a weapon.

[..]
Officers did not find signs of forced entry into Warf's home, which is a major indicator that it was not a random act of violence...

However, the police call log indicates that officers initially responded to a stabbing at Warf's residence.

[...]
She was quiet,” said neighbor SE of Warf. I don't think she'd hurt a flea.”

Warf was in the process of getting a divorce after an 18-year marriage, she said, adding Warf left behind a teenage daughter...

Erickson last saw Warf around midnight Saturday. She came to Erickson's house around 10 p.m. Friday and said she was too scared to go home.

[...]
Friends say Warf worked at a concession stand at Blackhawk Farms Raceway. She spent time with her boyfriend, chatted with her neighbors and walked to the pharmacy down the street for soda and cigarettes.

So, again, no sign of forced entry, and no weapon found at the scene. Why was she afraid to go home Friday night?

It sticks out to me also she was scared to go home. It could be any thing.
Was she scared of someone who had threaten her? Did she know somebody was watching her or following her home?
Or when she got home she felt something was off and was scared to go in. Something like an unlocked door when she swore she had locked it.

"Beloit police say 37-year-old Angelia Warf was found dead Saturday morning at her home in the 900 block of Harrison Avenue. The house is near Beloit College, but residents say it's a pretty quiet neighborhood except for the occasional student party. "

"The homicide took place at a residence at 906 Harrison Ave. during the early morning hours of June 16. Neighbors say Angelia Warf was found by one of her roommates, wrapped in cloth."

"However, a search warrant of the house revealed that investigators confiscated an orange tank top with hair fibers, a beer can, towel, sweatshirt, a Chips Ahoy package, a bloody sock, red shirt, sheets from Warf's bed, clothes from a washing machine, blood samples, marijuana pipe, cigarettes, clothes and lint from a dryer and a cell phone."

Not sure if it means anything but she was wrapped in cloth. Itd be nice to know more about if the other two were wrapped in cloth as well.
