Possibly Atlantic Highlands Jane Doe? NamUs: https://www.identifyus.org/en/cases/1458 and Doe Network profiles: http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/20ufnj.html. She was found in December 1988 and is believed to have died approximately 10-15 years or so prior. She is estimated to have been between 15-20 years old, 5'0"-5'4" tall, and had bad teeth. It was rumored that Barbara may have gone to New York City after she was last seen and Atlantic Highlands is less than 50 miles away. Wouldn't this mean that AHJD passed away at least two years before Barbara was last seen? I think the resemblance is uncanny. How accurate do you think a botanist would've been if not skilled in forensic anthropology?

What about Cheatham County Jane Doe? They believed she was a hitchhiker. Nashville could have been on her list of places to visit and Cheatham County is just to the west of Nashville.

Not necessarily, the approximation for the year of her death actually varies considerably depending on the source. Doe Network has the estimation of 15 years, but NamUs has it as circa 1980 to possibly as late as earlier in 1988. Also, several of the rule outs on the list went missing well after the mid-1970's.

I came across this MP when looking into a UID...I found a women that has the same name and resembles the MP....They both resided in NY...I submitted her to LE for consideration...The potential match has her name as a website address (with .com)...I'm unsure if it's her married name though...Possible coincidence...

Barbara Ann Bruno (Unknown-1980) - Find A Grave...

That is not burial site but rather very likely site of her headstone (sometimes on empty grave prepared for them). Many families of long term missing people have headstones made for their loved ones. Not odd at all.
