Grand Rapids police are asking for the publics help in tracking down a missing man.

The family of Paul Kaleta told police they lost contact with him on Dec. 30. Kaleta, 64, has a health condition that requires medication, officers say.

His missing poster is being shared frequently on Facebook but not finding any information via Facebook either.

I hope he is safe somewhere....

Not finding any new articles but Facebook postings from less than 1 hour ago indicate that Paul and his vehicle are still missing.

"We're not sure what to think of it, you know, it doesn't feel like there would be any foul play, he's not a bad dude," Jason Kaleta, Paul's nephew said. "He saw his ex-wife and son on Friday night to pick up a dog," Jason said.

"I'm worried and I really hope he's kind of just hiding out doing his own thing and needing some time, but to have the dog too and not bring it back the next day does leave a lot of questions."

No new MSM articles....FB post from one hour ago indicates he is still missing and that he told someone a few months ago that he wanted to move to Arizona. Hoping that he just traveled there.....but why would he take someone else's dog?

Found safe:

A Grand Rapids man whose family reported him missing late last month has been found safe in Arizona.
...Mlive reports, Kaleta's family members were relieved Tuesday to hear Kaleta was found in good condition, according to his sister-in-law, Carol Kaleta. Paul Kaleta originally planned to move to Arizona on Jan. 20, but left three weeks early without notifying members of his family, according to his brother, Victor Kaleta.
