Driedger was last seen doing what any Taber-raised farm kid might do on a Sunday morning, having finished the dawn chores on his parents' farm...
After that, Driedger went off to the local church, a regular habit for the clean-living, Mennonite-raised young man, who never drank or smoked, and whose only regular habit was making friends with pretty much everyone he met.
That was more than three weeks ago, and there's been no trace of Driedger since.
It would be a worrisome situation anywhere, but it's positively grim when you consider the farm is just outside Cuauhtémoc, Mexico, a small city 300-km south of Texas that Amnesty International has condemned as having the highest rate of disappearance in the country.
