Dominic Raab has urged the Government to do more to support families whose loved ones are murdered overseas after an 18-month delay into the investigation of a British man killed in St Lucia...
And he criticised the Home Office for failing to follow up on clear lines of enquiry in the case of the execution-style murder of British businessman Oliver Gobat...
Oliver, 38, was found dead in the passenger seat of his car, on a remote track less than two miles from the luxury hotel his family owns.
The businessman - whose parents live in Surrey - was shot twice in the head before his vehicle was set alight.
Local police sources at the time of his death were reported saying it was no ordinary murder and it had all the hallmarks of a professional killing.

A former Adelaide businessman received death threats over a multi-million dollar property deal in the months before being brutally murdered in the Caribbean, an inquest has heard.
Millionaire hotelier and highly successful entrepreneur Oliver Gobat, 38, was the victim of a smear campaign and online hackers from a rival bidder involved in the luxury St Lucia beach resort, a British court was told.
An inquest into his death heard how Mr Gobat, who helped found the Next Generation gym in North Adelaide and the Vodka Bar in Hindley Street, told police about the threats, inquired about buying a gun but kept it secret from his family.
Mr Gobat, who was known as Ollie, was ambushed in a suspected professional hit in April last year while he was on the cusp of securing a $10.2m (£5.4m) investment, The Landings, which had become insolvent.
