Police suspect foul play. Can't find any site that doesn't require registration. Maybe someone here can.
There's a picture of her on the registration site.

found this, appears she has been murdered and her son is charged. No body yet.

I wonder why in the world he did that? Murdering your parents is getting to be to common for comfort. A teenager murdered his parents, younger brother and his grandmother on Thanksgiving. He beat them to death with a rod of some type. How did he take on four people and kill them all? It's just horrible that parents are so easily murdered these days.

Argument Could Have Led To Killing

Woman Reported Missing Since Saturday

FORT WORTH, Texas -- Information contained in a search warrant shined new light on the case of a missing 62-year-old Plano woman. According to a search warrant obtained by Plano police, Paul Hancock's girlfriend said she saw the man stab to death his mother.

Paul Hancock was arrested in connection to his mother's disappearance.

The girlfriend told police Paul Hancock stabbed his mother, Ellen Hancock, several times in the chest at the apartment where she lived. The girlfriend also said the son dragged his mother's body downstairs and placed it in a pickup truck.

"We think that Ms. Hancock may have been concealed, uh, her body was concealed inside some large, yard-sized trash bags," Plano Detective Jerry Minton said.

Police have not found Ellen Hancock's body. Investigators called in cadaver-seeking dogs to search the area immediately adjacent to and surrounding the apartment complex where the woman lived and worked.

According to the warrant, the mother and son engaged in a heated argument. Neighbors told NBC 5 Paul Hancock ran up large credit card bills.

I wonder if the son was into drugs. There was another thread on the forum about how Plano Texas is such a drug infested and corrupt town.

Please excuse the above post by me. I got Plano mixed up with another texas town and it was too late to edit or delete my post when I realized.

One month after a 62-year-old Plano grandmother went missing and her son was charged with her murder, family members continue their search for answers.

While Paul Hancock, 23, remains in the Collin County jail facing a murder charge and is set to begin a 5 -year federal sentence for possession of child *advertiser censored* sentence, his mother's body remains missing.

From August 2007:

In a voice barely audible in court, Leigh Ann Stewart described the night, she says, that her boyfriend stabbed his mother.

She testified how Ellen Hancock was angry with her son, Paul Edward Hancock, because he had been running up bills, taking her money and giving her prescription pills to Ms. Stewart...

Ms. Stewart testified under immunity Tuesday as Mr. Hancock, 24, went on trial.

Could not find any subsequent MSM, but a few days later Hancock was sentenced to 15 years for aggravated assault, per Texas DOC:

There was no real justice for my family. He has been released to a federal prison and is serving time for different charges.

I’m so sorry that the system failed her. This case haunts me as I was a child that lived near her when this happened. Your family is in my thoughts.
