Found Safe PA - William 'Billy' McKnight, 63, Philadelphia, 26 Jan 2017

On Thursday January 19, 2017, Mr. McKnight was transported to Hahnemann Hospital in Philadelphia from his residence in the Hopkins House in Glenside, for a doctor’s visit. Mr. McKnight who suffers from Schizophrenia and seizures was left unattended by the transport company in the lobby of the hospital to wait for another transport to pick him up. When the transport company arrived an hour later they could not locate Mr. McKnight. Hahnemann Hospital security was able to review their video and saw Mr. McKnight wheel himself out of the hospital in his wheelchair and go south on Broad Street around 4:39 P.M.

Mr. McKnight was subsequently treated for a minor injury at Temple University Hospital and released on Thursday morning, January 26th; he may no longer be in the wheel chair that he was in on January 19, 2017.
