“This is unbelievable. This is unbelievable,” Wilson said Thursday.
Wilson maintained his innocence since his arrest in 1984 for the stabbing death of Christopher Hanson, 21, in Los Angeles.
These Innocence Project victories are always bittersweet. It's great that an innocent person is finally vindicated and released from confinement, but terribly sad to think of them unjustly confined for so many years ... even decades. But, Wilson is smiling and surrounded by his happy family. Plus, he'll be able to visit his 96-year-old mother.
