This is a friend of many of my friends. I'll update if I see anything on fb.

Bumping for Holly. Police have been dragging their feet.

I can tell you for a fact police have NOT been dragging their feet. They sent out an all-points bulletin as far east as Idaho, all the way up to Canada, and everywhere in Oregon.

I know Holly and a lot of her friends are not fans of police, I know that every person who goes traveling/nomading has had a bad experience with authorities even when doing nothing wrong (It's why I have such irrational hatred towards West Texas). But the Hood River police really are keeping their eyes open.

The problem is they just don't have very much to go on. According to mutual friends she was last seen near a body of water and all her gear was left behind. If the friend's are wrong and she's hitchhiking and inside someone's car and they're obeying traffic laws it would be nearly impossible to see her.

On Tuesday, Hood River police released additional details in the search for Lester.

Investigators said she was traveling with two men in a burgundy van before she disappeared.

They were heading to Hood River from the Portland area for a short trip, according to police.

The last confirmed sighting of Lester was inside the Hood River Safeway at 7:30 p.m. March 15.

Where is this "traveling companion" they keep referring to? Who are these two men in the maroon van? Have police been in contact with them? There is more questions than answers that they are giving out as information.

Looking at the "Find Holly Lester" FB page, it appears that some of Holly's friends very quickly figured out the identities of her traveling companion and the other man she went to Hood River with, which they have since communicated to LE.

I will provide the link to the FB page below. I think it is one of Holly's sisters that is running the page, and she is doing a great job, IMO. Based on some statements made by her, as well as comments left by others, I am afraid things are not looking very good right now :(, but at least the sister appears to be pleased with how LE is handling the investigation. There is a post by "DF" -fifth one from the top right now; posted on March 20 at 10:41 pm- that answered most of the questions I had after reading the KPTV article. It's rather lengthy but definitely informative (and most certainly disturbing - unfortunately :(). Holly really needs to be found. I wish I could be there to help find her ....

:(

By the way, Holly Lester was definitely from 'Seattle', any just travelling through Oregon.

Whatever happened with the autopsy on this? I can't find any info. I was a friend of Holly's from when she was in high school. It'd be nice to know what happened to her.
