MONTEREY PARK (CBSLA.com) Authorities Monday offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to the man suspected of murdering his ex-girlfriend in front of their child.

Kenia is beautiful, a light just radiates from her. Unlike her killer. LE released two photos and he looks completely different without the facial hair and dreads. I wonder why this alert is just coming out March if Kenia died in January? RIP.

The video of news conference with her mother is heartbreaking

"Please, you guys, turn him in," Kenia Buckner's mother said tearfully, addressing the suspect's family and friends at a morning news conference attended by homicide detectives and Bellflower's mayor. "This is unfair. We're just looking for justice -- please."

So sad. Seems to have been a lady who was holding it down. Working, going to school, taking care of her family. Such a waste.

    Snipped from article:
"He left on foot, and we're hoping that somebody in the community has some kind of information as to where Mr. Parker is," sheriff's Lt. Steve Jauch said.

Buckner, a nursing student, was pronounced dead at the scene. Parker is the father of her three children -- a 5-year-old daughter and two 10-year-old twins.

Wow... I don't know how people kill anyone, let alone someone they have that much of a history with

He walked in the front door and shot the mother of three in the chest, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said. A 10-year-old niece and other family members were present and saw Kenia die.

"She was everything to me," said the victim's mother Debbie Buckner. "I want to say to people who know, please turn him in."
