Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

"When from a long distant past nothing persists, after the people are dead, after things are broken and scattered, still alone, more persistent, more faithful, the smell and taste of things remain poised a long, long time like souls, ready to remind us, waiting, hoping for their moment amid the ruins of all the rest, and bear unfaltering in the tiny and almost impalpable drop of their essence the vast structure of recollection."

Taos woman reported missing; third in past year
A 65-year-old Taos woman has been missing for two weeks, raising concerns among friends in a community
where two other women have disappeared in the past year. Neither has been found, and one is believed to have been killed.
Josee L. Germond was reported missing March 7. The Taos County Crime Stoppers issued a news release on her disappearance this week,
describing Germond as 5-foot-7 and 150 pounds, with blue eyes and blond hair.
She speaks with a French accent, according to the notice. It does not say when Germond was last seen.

    Taos police investigating woman's disappearance

Department Detective Barry Holfelder Holfelder said Germond used to live in Taos and owned a gallery there. She retired a few years ago and friends haven't seen her in two weeks.
"Kind of unique," he said. "She didn't have a car. From what I understand, she didn't drive, never had a driver's license. She grew up in Europe, moved to Taos from Canada, has lived in Taos for 6-7 years, had a business here for a short period of time."

Well this is alarming... according to google, Taos is a town of about 6000 people. 3 people missing in and near here is scary! I hope she is found soon. Her friends and family must be frantic.
