May be some concerns about if they fired appropriately

She was at a checkpoint
 
It is a mess

Possibly elderly

Mental being pondered

Minimal concerns

No injuries

Shots fired

Media is doing bla bla but there is nothing known The headline for the MSN was actually clickbait!

Then as I am learning and listening its nothing!!

Thinking about deleting thread-- will see if it gets a new angle

Sounds like she may have had some drugs or something and appeared to try to flee LE

It is sounding like , understandably when she turned around they might have thought she was trying to run them over

The thing here is they are wondering if it is diversion for something else planned

It happened. Can't link, but it happened. She was at a check point, then tried/ or did ram a capital LE cruiser, shots fired she took off running, is arrested but their not releasing her name at this time. Jmo

As it was going on , in the background it seemed like they were moving the story more to she did not want to be checked - but we should know soon. Maybe !


But that was my initial thought: this running over humans with cars is just catching on too much!

And in our climate it does make sense that the cops at least would fire , thinking she was doing another run over people
 
Reading(can't link) that she did a u turn after being stopped for driving eratic, then driving in the wrong way, they raised barriers to stop her. Trapping her. Jmo
 
Now CBS is saying she hit a car, and it sounds like shots were fired during the attempted arrest her.

I have a feeling they are concerned about some questions about use of force!!!

It might have been gma having a stroke.

I think by this time we would have heard if 5 people were located in the trunk or 472 pounds of Vicodin were discovered!!!
 
She appeared to be black... she was female and aged 20-21.. dob 1996 iirc. Local noon news said she had DC id and the car had MD tags. As Elley Mae said above, they raised the barriers and trapped her.

Why they weren't able to raise them before she got past them is the question imo.
 
Still can't fing a photo of arrested woman, did read she appeared to be in her 20's. The vehicle is dark in color can't make out make.

There is a photo at www.thestar.com she is being lead to a van. Jmo
