Frustratingly I have found only one mention of Margoth Tivi. In 2005 being upon emigrants detained in Guatemala, from Ecuador en route to USA. They have listed her full name.

Interestingly, the same person is now registered for voting and also listed in public records as residing in New Haven, CT.

I am not sure how far is West Haven from New Haven, but what are the odds...

Seems pretty conclusive to me. I think you should suggest this thread be moved to the located section.

Thank you for encouragement. However as much as it seems the same person, it is yet unverified. Unless NamUs close her case or LE verify it and close it, I would not move it to closed/located section yet.

I have never contacted US authorities or NamUs, so I am more then happy if someone with experience passes above information to them, to check it, get us feed back and close her case if it is match. (I would probably skip link with immigration info though to avoid unnecessary questioning.) Her voting details has all the vitals.

Namus sadly not is updated; in the database there are still cases of missing persons and then later found.

I was only suggesting having the Websleuth thread moved. Whilst I have never had a case moved where they are still on NamUs I have had a pre-1960 case moved on a similar level of evidence (online records which seem convincing). In such a case I would simply let the Administrators take a view. They could also follow up with the authorities.

I have just refound this thread and, on checking Ancestry, I found a marriage record for Margoth Tivi to Edward E Tibor III in New Haven on 10 December 2007, the day she is said to have gone missing. There are no other records and I have no idea what to make of this as I cannot tie them together through other sources online.
