San Diego Police are asking for the public's help in finding a 33-year-old man who family and friends said uncharacteristically disappeared last week

was last seen driving a red 2016 GMC Terrain SUV in the area of Interstate 8 and Jackson Drive on April 6.*

David Medina, 32, was last heard from on April 5. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) found his red 2016 GMC Terrain SUV the next day on the Interstate 8 offramp at Jackson Drive in La Mesa.

Police say the SUV had been in a collision and that was no sign of Medina...

Police say the California Highway Patrol searched the brush around Interstate 8 when they found the SUV, and the area has since been searched again by SDPD.

Either that or he did not want to get a dui(if drinking) and I'm not saying he was. If so, I would think he would have surfaced by now.

I wrote a long post with links and it disappeared when I switched screens to get a URL.

Just to summarize. David's family is saying different things than the man MSM is identifying as his partner. Including that he has a partner. The family member quoted in the newspaper said he had a partner and they've broken up.

There's also some discrepancy in when David was reported missing.

Hopefully, if David is having relationship issues he's walked away voluntarily for a break.

This isn't sounding good, IMO. It appears all sm activity has ceased and "his partner fears he may have been trying to get away from someone."

"It’s very unlikely for him to be gone for this long,” Josef Gonzales said.

He said Medina’s phone is dead and there has been no activity on Medina’s credit cards or bank account since last Wednesday, the day before he went missing.

Medina has not posted to his social media accounts either, which his partner said is unlike him."

What I don't understand from that last news clip with his partner is - who is this mystery person who showed up to give him a ride, and how does the partner know that David didn't want to ride with him/her? Does he know the identity of this person or it's just speculation? Sounds very strange to me.

Bernal-Medina's body was found at the bottom of an embankment off the I-8 in Mission Valley, his family confirmed to 10News. His red 2016 GMC Terrain SUV was found by California Highway Patrol officers in the same area almost two weeks before.
