Abington Twp. Police Searching for Missing Uber Driver

Krysten was last seen on Tuesday around 4:45 a.m. in Philadelphia.

Police say she had been working as an Uber driver when she last spoke to family members.

She has not answered her cell phone or made any attempt to contact family members, police said in a news release.

I just read about Kyrsten's disappearance and came here to see if a thread has been started. I hope she is found safe.

A little more info:

On Monday night, Krysten left home she shares with her mother around 8 p.m. to drive for Uber.
Just after 4 a.m., Kathleen messaged Krysten, 'Are you on your way home?' ' No,' she responds, saying she was still ubering in Philly. Mom says, 'I'll see you later,' and Kristen types, 'Yeah, ok.'

Police used Uber records to identify Kristen's last passenger drop off after 4 a.m. in Northeast Philadelphia.
We ruled out as any involvement in this issue. So as far as we know, Uber is not involved," said Abington Police Sgt. Thomas Scott.

Police say there's no indication that any of her bank cards had been use.

Car found!

Police have found the car of an Abington woman reported missing last week.

Her Subaru was located at the base of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge on the Philadelphia side. Police suspect Kysten Laib disappeared voluntarily and “was intent on harming herself,” according to a statement issued by law enforcement.

Wow, I can't believe this woman was out driving Uber at 4 AM in the morning in the city, the same city where 20 people just got shot over the weekend.

Strange story. Looks like a sad ending.

Some on Fb that are family friends say her body has been found.
She was the sister of my ex husband.
So very sad and sorry it came to this - I prayed the family would get the help they needed
