I kinda thought the woman was alive from the thread title. From carbuff's link^:

The female body is of unknown age, Caucasian, and possibly wears glasses. At this time authorities are considering her a “Jane Doe” as she has not been identified.

Morrow County Sheriff’s Office also reported the female victim was wearing black rubber boots, a pea coat, scarf, mittens, and a stocking cap.
 
I think by them using body, that she is probably deceased. JMO.

At this time, no foul play is suspected. The deceased will be transported to the Franklin County Morgue for an autopsy and for possible identification.

So b/c she was wearing a peacoat maybe she died on a cold day/night? Might give a clue to season in which she was killed. Maybe it wasn't long ago since Winter just passed and things can still be a bit chilly even in early spring.
 
and did she die b/c she was exposed to the elements? Was she a transient who froze to death or died in her sleep in that barn? :(

Sounds like she was dressed just like I dress when going out to the barn. Had to be a reason she went in the barn. Wonder how long it's been abandoned?
 
I know this is a long shot, but there is an elderly dementia/alzheimer's patient missing since February 2017 from Baltimore, Maryland, named Constance Cockey.
There is a thread for her on WS. She does wear glasses, too.
 
According to Wikipedia, Morrow County is 98.37% white. So it seems like if she is African-American, that's really going to narrow down your potential pool of possibles, or she is not from Morrow County. Maybe she's from Mansfield or Columbus.

I've driven through that area tons of times, and I broke down there once. There is really not a lot in Morrow County, it's very rural, although it's only a short drive away from more populated areas. But there are three very large truckstops in that general area, so she could be someone who was passing through that way too....but then how does she end up in the barn?
