Terry Williams was last seen leaving his girlfriend’s house at 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Around 5 a.m. Wednesday his alarm company called to let her know the alarm was going off in his apartment.
Williams’ girlfriend found his apartment in disarray with the alarm panel torn off the wall and security camera wires ripped out. She said a revolver was missing along with a folder containing Williams’ personal information.

When police watched security footage they saw two people use keys to enter Williams’ apartment one minute before his alarm went off.

Police say Williams has not been seen or heard from since, and his cell phone is going straight to voice mail.

Williams is 5 feet 11 inches and 185 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He drives a blue 2000 Cadillac DeVille with the New Mexico license plate 933RWL.

A "burning body" was found off the side of a dirt road in the Cibola National Forest southeast of Tijeras on Friday morning, according to a spokeswoman for the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office.

They have video of the guys entering his apartment. Is there not video of them leaving? Seems sort of odd.

They may have but have chosen not to share. They could have left out another door or window.

I do wonder how long they were inside?

Police are also still looking for Williams car, a blue 2000 Cadillac Deville.

So it was his body that was found burning. Sad.

The entering of his apartment was early morning before sunrise and the/his body was found early morning still burning. It seems whoever may be responsible does their sneaky bad guy stuff in the early a.m.

As per the first post the people that entered ripped the camera wires off. I guess they were not filmed for much longer than when they entered.

RIP Terry

"Police in Albuquerque say two people have been arrested in connection with the death of a man whose burned body was found near the Cibola Campground."

"55-year-old Craig Smith and 39-year-old Evonne Jaramillo are being held in the homicide case..."
...
I am so happy to see these arrests!

Here are the charges from the link.

They say Smith was accused of an open count of murder, conspiracy to commit murder, kidnapping, unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, tampering with evidence and burglary.

Jaramillo is being held on suspicion of unlawful taking of a motor vehicle and tampering with evidence.

More info on the arrests and murder of Terry Williams-

•According to police, Craig Smith admitted to playing a role in the death of Williams.•
He also provided information saying that Evonne Jaramillo, his girlfriend was involved.

Smith told police he and Jaramillo went into Williams’ apartment looking for crack and money.

Deputies say Smith confessed to stealing Williams’ car and abandoning it at a local hospital.

•He also told investigators that he saw Williams’ dead body wrapped in plastic, but says he had nothing to do with his murder.•

After deputies got a search warrant for Smith’s truck and rental trailer, they say they found two guns. They believe one of those guns is the murder weapon.

On Saturday, June 24 2017 Craig Smith appeared before a judge.

He’s charged with an open count of murder among other crimes.

The state has also requested he be held without bond until trial.

Evonne Jaramillo also faced a judge in connection to the case, however she is only charged with stealing a car and has already bonded out of jail.
