The Sheriff's office posted on their Facebook page saying they found the car in South Monroe County with the help of the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, Department of Natural Resources and the Georgia Department of Corrections.

Williams was not with the vehicle.

The Sheriff's Office said the agencies involved searched the area with k-9's and didn't find her. The Monroe County Search and Rescure team will do a grid search Monday morning in the woods.

Sad that a young lady like that can just go missing. I understand that she is a nurse and 39 years old. I can't understand why they waited until Monday to search more indepth.

Phone tracked to Gainesville(GA): http://www.13wmaz.com/mb/news/local...womans-phone-tracked-to-gainesville/437740090

UPDATE: The phone belonging to a Lamar County woman was tracked to Gainesville on the day she went missing, according to an incident report.
The report describes what happened the day Lori Williams disappeared.
The report says her husband, Robert Williams, says she called him last Tuesday, May 2, and asked him to bring her some gas for her car.
"Mrs. Williams sounded disoriented and slurring with her speech," and told him she didn't know where she was, the report says.

Robert Williams told a deputy that the phone call kept breaking up, as if she were in an area of poor service, and finally ended.
He says he called her office and could not confirm that Williams, a traveling nurse, reported to work Tuesday.
Their son tracked Lori Williams' phone to Gainesville, Georgia, contacted police, Robert Williams said. The two of them drove to Gainesville and drove around looking for her, he said.
Police there put out an alert for Lori Williams, and Robert Williams contacted the Lamar County Sheriff's Office the next day, Wednesday, the report said.
Lori Williams is 39, according to the report. She was driving a 2013 Nissan Maxima, which was found in the woods Sunday.

How sad! Her 21 year old just died in a car accident March 19, 2017. The emotional and physical toll must have been overwhelming.
