Identified! NY - NYC, Male, 20-30, found in Central Park reservoir, May'17 *Anthony Mcafee aka Anthony Brown*

CENTRAL PARK –*A body was found floating in water at*Central Park Wednesday morning for the second day in the row, police said.

The NYPD said a person was found dead inside the Pond near 59th Street and East Drive. Police have not released the person’s identity nor age at this time.

On Tuesday, a corpse*was found at the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir, a 106-acre decommissioned reservoir inside the iconic greenspace, near Central Park West and West 90th Street. The medical examiner has not released the cause of death yet.

A Central Park maintenance worker found both bodies. Neither body showed obvious signs of trauma.

A maintenance worker on Tuesday morning (5/9/17) found a naked body floating in the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir, a 106-acre decommissioned reservoir, near Central Park West and West 90th Street. The body, believed to be that of a man between 20 and 30 years old, was so badly decomposed that detectives have not yet been able to secure an identification, Boyce said.

The body of a man in his 30s was found floating inside Swan Lake, near 59th Street and East Drive, on Wednesday morning (5/10/17). The body had been in the lake for a week or two, at most. Detectives have tentatively identified him based on an ID found inside his pants pocket, though that name is not being released yet, Boyce said.

The latest body, identified by sources as 36-year-old Anthony Mcafee, who is believed to be homeless, was found at around 7:20 a.m. in Swan Lake, near East 59th Street and Fifth Avenue.

Police sources said that Mcafee, who has an alias of Anthony Brown, has a history of depression and attempted suicide in the past.
