ANGELUS OAKS, California -- Los Angeles County rescue crews successfully airlifted a horse that had been stuck at the bottom of a 300-foot ravine Thursday afternoon.

Amazing to read that both horse and rider only sustained minor injuries!!

That was a great video. I am pleased that both horse and rider had only minor injuries.
The poor horse tolerated that amazing airlift remarkably well. Many people I know - myself included - would have enjoyed every minute of it. The horse needed sedation and a blindfold, but he still tolerated it well. It was good seeing him stagger to his feet art the end of it all. :happydance:
