NC - Damion Lemont Jones, 22, Sharpsburg, 1999
A murder case with no body, that's what a detective with the Sharpsburg Police Department has been working with for the last five years until now.
Last month, Detective Joel Batchelor received tips that ultimately led to the indictments of three men in connection to the 1999 murder of 22-year-old Damion Lemont Jones.
Benjamin Ransome, Terrance Hanson and Reginald Hanson are all charged in the case. Police say Jones was killed at Hillsdale Apartments in Sharpsburg on March 5, 1999.
Anybody ever heard of this case? I couldn't find any other info on it.Just when I think that I have seen the most depraved things a human can do to another human, somebody posts a new story...........
Why is it that when a custodial parent fails to provide for a child it is called neglect and is a criminal matter. But when a non custodial parent fails to provide it is called failure to support and is a civil matter?

I can't find anything about this victim.
I can't find the two Hanson's named with a murder conviction in the NC system.
I do see a Ben R. in the system with a murder conviction. Life sentence.
