Elaine Shumate, from Zanesville, is believed to be in the Warren area because she was looking for treatment for her heroin addiction.

She is 24 years old and described as being 51″ tall and weighing 150 pounds, with a tattoo across her chest that reads, Will Hunt.

Alexander told police that Shumate messaged her on Facebook four days ago, saying if anything happens to her, to remember the names of two people she was with. Those two names werent contained in a police report.

WARREN, Ohio - A Warren woman is in jail, accused of purposely backing her car over another woman and crashing into a fire hydrant while her baby was in the back seat.

As it turns out, the woman who was run over has been listed as a missing person since early May.

Police arrested 19-year-old Bianca Nasidka on charges of felonious assault and child endangering Tuesday night after they found a 24-year-old woman on the ground and bleeding from the leg at the Park Plaza apartments on Parkman Road.

Police say they could not interview the victim because she was screaming in pain. But police identified her as Elaine Shumate of Zanesville, who was reported missing by her family since May 3.

She was treated on the scene by EMT's for possible broken bones, according to the report.

They also checked out the baby boy to make sure he wasn't hurt.
When police arrested Nasidka, they say she told them that she had befriended Shumate, who had told her she was trying to escape an "unhealthy relationship" in Zanesville.

so it sounds to me like Elaine went on a binge rather than seek treatment and this Nadsika actually looks as if she uses as well. they prob met while using or searching and Nadskia prob thought Eliane was trying to burn her.
