    I'm heartbroken.

I was fortunate to see him solo, solo acoustic, with Audioslave and with Soundgarden. One of the most talented musicians of my generation. I'm still not over Scott Weiland's passing. I saw him 4 days before his death. </3
    MOO, IMO, etc...

I too was fortunate enough to see Soundgarden. Between them and Alice In Chains, they were my favorites. I was devastated when Lane Staley passed. This one is breaking me.

Next to Layne Staley there wasn't a more beautiful haunting voice.

    I am bummed!

Shocked by this news and I'm having a hard time believing it.

Mr. Freeman said that the victim’s wife had called a family friend to check on the man; the family friend forced his way into the man’s room at the casino and found him unresponsive on the bathroom floor.

Yeah something seems off to me.

The wife has stated that they didn't expect anything like this, she is shocked, but why call someone to come and force their way in at 12am unless you suspect something is not right?

    idk

    Chris Cornell

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/police-in...153600101.html

According to reports, one of the final songs Soundgarden performed Wednesday night at the Fox Theater was a cover of Led Zeppelin's "In My Time of Dying," which features the lyrics: "In my time of dying, I want nobody to mourn / All I want for you to do is take my body home."

I'm having a hard time with this too.
The only thing I can think of is maybe he relapsed and just couldn't deal. IDK.
Not that that would make it any better, but maybe just a bit easier to understand.

    I am completely bummed.

It also seems like it would be nearly impossible to force your way into a hotel room.

I was thinking the same - but it may be that he forced the door to the bathroom.
