2017.05.12 - Federal Government Contractor in GA Charged With Leaking Classified Info

    https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/feder...materials-news

Winner is a contractor with Pluribus International Corporation assigned to a U.S. government agency facility in Georgia. She has been employed at the facility since on or about February 13, and has held a Top Secret clearance during that time. On or about May 9, Winner printed and improperly removed classified intelligence reporting, which contained classified national defense information from an intelligence community agency, and unlawfully retained it. Approximately a few days later, Winner unlawfully transmitted by mail the intelligence reporting to an online news outlet.

NBC News is reporting that the document Winner is alleged to have leaked was published by The Intercept on Monday. It was a top-secret NSA report which found that Russia tried to hack into voting machines in the days leading up to the 2016 election.

The NSA and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence were both contacted for this article. Officials*requested that we not publish or report on the top secret document and declined to comment on it. When informed that we intended to go ahead with this story, the NSA*requested a number of redactions. The Intercept agreed to*some of the redaction requests after determining that the disclosure of that material was*not clearly in the public interest.

As for the underlying allegation, that Putin lied not only in St Petersburg and to Megyn Kelly most recently, and that Russia somehow did try to hack a "named US company to obtain information on elections-related software and hardware solutions", even though the report does not does not show the underlying “raw” intelligence - i.e., evidence - on which the analysis is based, we look forward to this stirring up yet another round of media frenzy just as the Russian hacking narrative was taking a back seat to the the upcoming featured spectacle, this Thursday's James Comey testimony, which among things will hopefully explain how nearly a year after these alleged hacks, aside from the occasional leaked report without evidence, there is still no actual leak confirming that Russia's GRU did indeed try to "hack" the election.

The affidavit sworn by FBI agent Justin Garrick said that she had previously served in the Air Force and held a top-secret security clearance.

I seriously doubt that you can make that assumption based on a single tweet.

That said, I hope they catch the leakers who revealed the evidence relating to the Manchester Attack.

I've read tons of her social media--not going off just one tweet. Plus, seems she would be be VERY bright and this could not have been more poorly executed.
