Could this be her? If so, Jane doe is classified as 3" shorter and 3 years younger. The shape of the face though really matches and it appears that April's glasses are tinted in the photo.

Case History
Shortly after 1 a.m. on May 28, 1992, Phoenix police, using tracking dogs, found the decomposing body in a desert area commonly used to dump trash, in the 2000 block of East Deer Valley Road.
A man riding an all-terrain vehicle noticed a foul odor coming from a rubbish pile and saw a hand sticking out. He called police, who used tracking dogs to find the body under a sheet of plywood.

Note: April told her family she was going to play guitar at a dance the night she disappeared. The family later learned there were no dances in the area.

I have looked at it several times and I don't think so. The drawing shows a much stronger chin structure. April's pics indicate a more shallow chin. Only the glasses are similar. Keep it up though...you are bound to hit on a connection.

Today, June 17, 2007, marks the sixteenth anniversary of April's disappearance. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers. If you have any information regarding the disappearance or whereabouts of April Ann Repka, please call the Texas Department Of Public Safety at 800-346-3243 or your local police department (you can always remain annonymous).

U.S. Marshals arrested 37-year-old Carlos Zuniga Jr. in connection with the 1991 death of an 18-year-old Victoria woman who vanished two weeks after her high school graduation, said Jim Wells County Sheriff's Department Sgt. Jose S. Martinez III.
The search for April Ann Repka went cold for more than a decade, until a farmer in 2004 found a skull and femur while digging a trench in a field about six miles south of Alice, Martinez said. The remains were sent to a lab in Denton with the hopes DNA could be matched.

Jurors convicted a man of murder Wednesday in the stabbing death of a teen in 1991 near Alice, bringing a close to a case that went cold for more than a decade.

Carlos Zuniga Jr., 41, was sentenced to 30 years in prison, defense attorney Eric Perkins said...

Ortiz, who attended school with Repka in Victoria, said the two were acquaintances of Zuniga. The trio was headed to see Zuniga's brother in Alice when Repka, 19, accused Zuniga of stealing $300 from a metal box in the car and threatened to call police, Barrera said. Zuniga drove down a country road near Alice, pulled Repka out of the car and stabbed her, Barrera said.
