I'm not much into tattoos. Do these tattoos look like studio work, or amateur?

Incarceration tattoos? But they aren't blue, possibly black ink?

JMHO

I think they look amateurish, JMO. The AMY letters one is the best one because it looks like there is shading and a fancy shape instead of freehand like the mama and star. Maybe the Wolf was better quality too but deterioration of the skin makes it hard to see.

Does anyone else think that it looks like there is writing above the wolf?

These are incredibly amateur and quite possibly very old. I would be very surprised if they had been done in a tattoo parlor, to me they definitely look like jail/prison tattoos. Either that or someone screwing around with some piano wire...

Looks like "L A M A"?

Agree, but are those warts or abrasions or something from the water?

LaMancha, as in The Man of LaMancha?

Also a dairy goat breed -- is that a wolf or a goat? Is the ram a gang symbol?

Not saying the deceased is a gang member, just trying to find information.

The mascot of the US Naval Academy is a goat, IIRC.

No, the fourth image, an animal with letters above, and looks like abrasions to the skin or warts or IDK what? Raised bumps & different colors.

Also, the cursive on the "Jeromy" that's really an N! JeroNy? Journey?

Give us some insight about the professional level of these tattoos, please!

Although a couple of the letters are covered up, I think it looks like LATINO written above the wolf tattoo.

IMOO.

Oh, it says wolf right under it...duh. I can't believe I stared at that picture for so long and didn't notice that.

Remember that some other person typed wolf, and that person wasn't there when our deceased gentleman asked for the tattoo.

Wolf, dog, goat, Chupacabra, we don't really know exactly what it is right now.

Interesting that you found a well-known animal with a name that fits with the letters!

I didn't notice it either! The Word "Wolf" is tattooed under the animal.

I think the word above it looks like "Latino" (but the o is not readable). Maybe his nickname was "Latino Wolf""
