Candlelight vigil marks one month of searchingFamily wants to keep name and face of Larry Duvall in public's mind
KNOB LICK - There will be a candlelight vigil at 6 o'clock tonight at the home of Larry Duvall, marking one month that the Knob Lick man has been missing.
Duvall disappeared from his home on Plummer Road on Nov. 27 and has not been heard from since. A massive four-day search by law enforcement and rescue personnel didn't yield any clues into Duvall's whereabouts. Family members and friends are continuing to search for the 57-year-old man.
“We are still searching with family and friends and volunteers,” said Melissa Green, Duvall's sister. “Arco in St. Louis donated flyers to pass out. We are actively e-mailing, faxing and mailing them out daily. We are still in contact with the television, radio and newspapers media, trying to keep his name and face in front of the public.”

Authorities believe body is that of Duvall
Fisherman discovers body floating in lake at S-F Scout Ranch
Jan 17, 2006
KNOB LICK - Authorities believe that a body found in a lake at the S-F Boy Scout Ranch on Monday is the body of a Knob Lick man that has been missing for nearly two months.
Larry Duvall, 57, Knob Lick, disappeared from his residence on Plummer Road on Nov. 27 and has not been seen or heard from since. A week long search in November of the Plummer Road area and the neighboring S-F Scout Ranch by authorities and search and rescue personnel did not yield any clues into the whereabouts of Duvall.
On Monday while fishing in the 200-acre Nims Lake at the S-F Boy Scout Ranch, a fisherman from Park Hills found a body floating in the water.
“We are reasonably sure it's him (Duvall),” said St. Francois County Sheriff Dan Bullock. “We have located a dentist he went to and are in the process checking dental records for a match.”
