Idk why but as I keep looking at his sketch, I feel that he looks younger than 40 years old.. maybe he was in his late 20s-30s at least.

Not sure what they mean by right hand tho.

He is way taller than our UID and it says he has brown hair and he wears eyeglasses. In addition, he is 22. (I think this UID is somewhere in his 20s by the look of him.
In his picture, it looks like he has black hair. If he was high on drugs, he could have left his glasses somewhere without knowing he didn't have them on.

(Chandler Police Department Sketch)

PHOENIX — Police in a Phoenix suburb are seeking help in identifying a body found near a residential development 16 years ago.

The severely decomposed body of a man was found July 22, 2002, in a desert area north of a subdivision being built near Queen Creek and McQueen roads in Chandler.
Investigators believe the body was that of a Hispanic man who was between the ages of 30 and 45 when he died. A sketch was made based on his facial makeup.
The body was found clothed in light blue jeans, a patterned button-down shirt and boxer shorts.

He wasn’t wearing shoes and his socks were clean, leading investigators to determine that he didn’t die where he was found, but he was dumped there.

Fingerprints didn’t match any in the national database.

"There's a family somewhere out there that does not know what happened to this loved one," said Detective Seth Tyler with the Chandler Police Department.

Police said the man had no visible signs of trauma and have not found any evidence that he was the victim of a crime. They also found a bullet in his left leg below the knee, but said that was not a factor in his death.

They partnered with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office to create the sketch. Authorities believe the man was of Hispanic origin and between 30 and 45 when he died.

Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to contact Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or Detective Ynclan at 480-782-4105.

These statements seem oddly contradictory:

"He wasn’t wearing shoes and his socks were clean, leading investigators to determine that he didn’t die where he was found, but he was dumped there."

VS.

"Police said the man had no visible signs of trauma and have not found any evidence that he was the victim of a crime."

So his dead body was dumped outside and yet they're not treating it as a crime?

Maybe the suggestion is that he may have died of natural causes ( not murdered ) someplace and somebody removed his body and dumped it where the body was found. Although that would still be a crime, perhaps indignity to a body?
imo speculation.

Right, improper disposal of a body is still a crime. And I can't see why a person would randomly find a dead body and decide it would be easier to move and dump it elsewhere rather than simply calling 911. Something is not right! And this happened 16 years ago with no apparent investigation, so I doubt the perpetrator will ever be found. That poor man.
