Man allegedly stole $29 from Lean Bean coffee stand near Sherman IGA
COEUR d'ALENE -- Bail was set at $250,000 for a Coeur d'Alene man who was tackled by passers-by trying to get away with $29 he allegedly tried to take from a Sherman Avenue coffee stand.
Police said three Samaritans helped to capture Terry Thomas Taylor, 46, during Tuesday's abortive 7:20 p.m. robbery at the Lean Bean stand in the IGA parking lot at 1211 Sherman Ave.
"I seen a man enter the coffee shop," said Randall Naccarato in a written statement to police. "The woman ran out and I tackled him."

The three good samaritans are being rewarded with free coffee, at the Lean Bean, for the next year.
