Pooch survives rushing rapids,saved by kayakers

This little pooch was saved by kayakers after being swept down the rapids. The vet in the story is our vet. We're going down there this afternoon to see if the dog's been adopted yet. If not, we might just take her home.

Well we didn't get to adopt "Curly" (as my DH had already named her) because her real owners saw her picture in the paper and came to claim her. They told Dr Robinson's staff that she had been missing 26 days! I guess that is the best ending possible, she's back home with her mom and dad.

What a sweet story.....and she's 13...she's a tough cookie to go through what she did esp. after being gone 26 days...wow! Great news!
