To add to the conversation about cameras: I sub in my children's elementary school in the northern VA area. School just went through a remodel a few years ago and we have zero cameras in the halls. Just one over the front and back doors that allows the secretaries to see who is at the door once the doors are locked during the school day.

Also, one time when I was substituting in second grade we had a student steal things from the room during recess. I had asked the other teachers if there were cameras, hoping that we could see who was going back into the room during recess. They told me no we do not.

My point is, it would've been very easy for TH to find out if there were cameras if she was indeed subbing there.

    A prayer for Kryon today:

Lord Jesus, we trust you in a matters. Your sweet child of God, Kyron, needs to come home to his beloved mother, Desiree. Dear Lord, please use your hand to guide the searchers to little Kyron. We humbly ask for your intersession, and help. Glory be to God, Amen!

If someone has a link, I'd love to see it!

JMHO and thank you very much.
BBM - She does have her degree in education, but she had let her license lapse in 2007 and only renewed it in February of 2010. Before that, she had been a substitute teacher in the Hillsboro School District.

She did "volunteer" at Skyline School.

IIRC at the time Kyron went missing there were no cameras. I believe they were added after the fact, and security procedures were changed.

I'm sure he knew right away.

I agree with you. His detective gut instinct must've been on full alert. He is a very well respected law enforcement officer, and it had to have been very difficult for him.

A total and complete shot in the dark here.

The 3 Emery brothers were recently arrested for sexual abuse and child pornography.

They are in their 80's and their houses, garages, sheds, basement, attics, were hoarding rooms for everything devious - from child sexual assault and murder, and anything you would never want to imagine.

Their crimes have been going on for decades.

They have a house in Shelton, Washington which is 130 miles from Portland, Oregon and a house in Seattle which is a little further.

While their twisted interest does appear at this point to be female, we all know how gender is not an issue for some sexual deviants.

They have cadaver dogs at both properties and are investigating a potential link to Lindsay Baum's case.

It wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility that they were involved in the disappearance of Kyron - as an alternative to TH being responsible.

They had many missing and murdered children's fliers from across the country.

As I recall, none or very few of the doors to the outside were locked that day.

Your correct. She never taught at Skyline. My oldest had her for a sub a few times in another school in that district. Scary but true. Skyline always had high amounts of parent volunteers and she did volunteer there.

I personally think that's not really a viable theory. The Emerys would have absolutely no reason to drive that far to a school they probably had no idea even existed. And they were still elderly at that time also. Those kind of predators usually just snatch kids when an opportunity presents itself, and it's usually not as complicated as this would've been for older men to pull off. It would be highly risky for a stranger to go into an unfamiliar elementary school and snatch a kid from a hallway without knowing the lay of the land so to speak.

According to this chart Kyron should be approximately 5ft tall at 15years old. I think the possible height is very important. https://www.cdc.gov/growthcharts/dat...l/cj41c071.pdf

I actually believe if Kyron continued on the same growth curve that he'd be a bit taller.
Many kids will settle into a growth curve and maintain it all their life.
Obviously we don't know if Kyron had done that previously.

Ky was around the 50th percentile for both height and weight when he disappeared.
50th percentile for a 15 year old boy is about 5"8.
My daughter is 5"1 at almost 14, she has been right around the 50th percentile since she was a year old.

If I remember correctly Desiree and Kaine were not as short as we are.
So I'm thinking 5"4-5"8 is a good guess. Maybe 120-160 depending on muscle mass.
A better estimate could be made if their heights and his percentile history was available.

However, I'm guessing there is some reason why NCMEC doesn't do that along with age progression photos.
Maybe there just isn't a good, accurate way to do it.
