"A 3-year-old boy died Saturday after officials said he was left in a parked car for at least an hour in triple-digit heat at a Las Vegas resort.

FOX 5 the parents of the boy left him in the car at the resort parking lot for over an hour. The temperature in Las Vegas reached a high of 113 degrees Saturday, according to AccuWeather."

Oh no....I bet they were gambling...

My friend runs a security company and one of their clients is a large Casino upstate. He says that one of the main things his security carts do is watch for children left alone in cars..

It is a parking structure so there is not the same danger as hot cars in the sun. But it is still dangerous and unforgivable.

Authorities told the television station it appeared the parents were visiting Las Vegas as part of a large reunion that brought together family members from across the country, and they lost track of the child.

'Lost track' of the child? Pretty slick wording. How do you 'lose track 'of a 3 yr old when he is alone in a hot car?
