It was first believed that Grant may possibly be camping in the Perdido River Wildlife Management area located in Beulah.

Since he was reported missing, the family has received numerous calls of sightings of Grant Hofberger in the Mobile Highway and Beulah Road area.

A sleeping bag and box of cereal. That is not comforting! Hoping for his safe return. Per Sheriff's twitter, they are getting numerous calls of sighting of him...

Grant was found in the Perdido River Wildlife Management area located in Beulah. Those were the same miles of woods surrounding 13-year-old Grant Hofberger’s Beulah Road home that Combs and other family members had walked shouting for the boy who has been missing since July 18, begging him to answer. She feared he couldn’t respond, never that he wouldn’t. While Grant left voluntarily on his own after getting in an argument with his father, those who know the sweet, happy boy say he would never have chosen to be gone this long.
