Jaylen, Holly, Debbie, Christopher. All in the last two weeks.
Charges are pending in some of these deaths but the charge never added is theft.
Somebody leaves a gun out, somebody gets drunk and cranks up the car, somebody gives in to anger, and they steal lives.
Kids die young and we talk about whether they could've grown up to be president or cure cancer. But that's not the point.
The point is that they never get a chance to be anything, not a mechanic or a waitress or the cashier at a grocery store, ordinary people drawing a paycheck and raising kids and adding their little bit to the world.
