Family members reported that Gregory McSwain Morgan had been missing about 9 days prior to the missing person’s report filed on Saturday in Joanna, South Carolina.

McSwain is described as a male, standing 5’10”, weighing 200 pounds. At this time there is no description of the clothing he was last seen in.

It does appear as if he has had some trouble with the law, so am wondering if that has something to do with his disappearance. He does have a son and a sister who appear to miss him very much.

Greg was last seen on video camera leaving the Dollar General in Joanna, SC. He was driving a black truck, but the truck was at his home and he has not been seen since.

Human skeletal remains found on Joanna property​

The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies are working to identify human skeletal remains found on a private property in Joanna, the LCSO said Monday morning.
In addition to the LCSO, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) and Foothills Search and Rescue were on the scene Monday in Joanna.
SLED, Foothills Search and Rescue, the Laurens County Coroner’s Office and Greenville County Coroner’s Office processed the scene and “collected evidentiary items,” the LCSO said.
“We are working closely with these agencies to identify the decedent,” a release from the LCSO read.
The investigation is ongoing.

Identity confirmed as Gregory Morgan. My heart goes out to his family.

The remains have been identified as Gregory McSwain Morgan, who was last seen July 26, 2017.

Morgan's death has been ruled undetermined.
