Identified! FL - Lee Co, Hisp OR Wht Male, Early 20s, Skull Ring, Seen in Lehigh Acres June'15 - Jeremy Burgess

The sheriff's office has not released any information on where the remains were found or when, but said their investigation revealed the person was last seen in June 2015 in Lehigh Acres.

The remains are presumed to be of a white or Hispanic man in his early 20s.

LCSO released photos of a ring and a pair of jeans similar to those worn by the person.

Right, it's odd, they must have an eye witness that saw this man but didn't know who he was. Hopefully they can get a sketch made.

Yes, that's what it looks like. They appear to be either vintage or old, depending on when he bought them.

They have added a sketch:

Anthropological analysis indicates that the skeleton belonged to a male between the ages of 25 and 45. While the original report assumed that the subject was white or hispanic, LCSO now says that the skeleton belongs to a man who may have numerous ancestral backgrounds. An artist’s sketch of what the man may have looked like was supplied by law enforcement, along with photos of jeans and a ring similar to the one the man was wearing.

There's certainly a strong resemblance and case to be made, but according to the info in post #1, the decedent was known to be alive in 2015. Mr. Reyes Salmeron disappeared in 2005. I suppose he could have been living in the area, homeless or something...
