Search On For Music Teacher Accused Of Sex Assaults
A former Somerville High School music teacher has been charged with sexually assaulting three students.
William Thompson, 43, who also uses the name J.R. Thompson, is believed to have fled the state, and is being sought by authorities, Somerset County Prosecutor Wayne Forrest said Thursday.
He was charged Wednesday with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a minor.
Forrest said the assaults took place between 1996 and 2005 at Thompson's home or in his car.

Why is it that when a custodial parent fails to provide for a child it is called neglect and is a criminal matter. But when a non custodial parent fails to provide it is called failure to support and is a civil matter?
