Police Need Your Help Identifying John Does Body
(CBS) LONG BEACH, Calif. The body of a gray-haired man found in the Los Angeles River basin in Long Beach around 2:50 p.m. on Dec. 3, remains unidentified due to his not having a wallet or any other identifying papers. This has prompted the coroner's office to seek help from the public.
The body was found last month near the 3800 block of De Forest Avenue, said Gilda Tolbert of the L.A. County Coroner's Department.
The man appeared to have been between 55 and 65 years old and had no tattoos or scars, she said.
He was wearing a red Sean Jean shirt, blue women's size 12 pants and white, blue and orange New Balance tennis shoes, Tolbert said.
