OH - Michael Fish, 25, found murdered, Clinton County, 15 Dec 2005

A man is murdered in one part of the Tri-State, and his body is later found miles away. Now, a suspect is behind bars.

Jeffrey Elberle, 27, was locked up in the Clermont County Jail late Friday night on an aggravated murder charge.

Michael Fish, 25, vanished December 15th from Sharonville. He was last seen with friends.

Police found evidence leading them to believe that Elberle murdered Fish about 30 miles away in Pierce Township. Fish's body was discovered Thursday in Clinton County.

Just when I think that I have seen the most depraved things a human can do to another human, somebody posts a new story...........

Why is it that when a custodial parent fails to provide for a child it is called neglect and is a criminal matter. But when a non custodial parent fails to provide it is called failure to support and is a civil matter?

From what I am hearing on TV, Fish was first beaten, then set on fire alive. Then Eberle, finished him off with a shovel.

In September 2006, Jeffrey Eberle pled guilty in an Ohio court to aggravated murder and was sentenced to life imprisonment with the possibility of parole...

Jeffrey Eberle pled guilty in September 2006 to aggravated murder under Ohio state law. Represented by counsel, Eberle admitted that he “purposely and with prior calculation” caused the death of Michael Fish. Eberle specifically agreed that on the night of December 14, 2005, he and Jason Evick took Fish to a secluded location where Eberle assaulted Fish with a shovel. Fish died of blunt force trauma.
