Rodolphe Enrique Jean-Pierre Lesourd, 47, a French citizen, was last seen on Sunday, Aug. 6, the Salt Lake City Police Department said in a news release.

Lesourd checked out of the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Salt Lake City Airport on Monday, Aug. 7, and was supposed to get on a flight back to France that same day, but he never got on the plane, the news release said.

Any locals know which hospitals are around? Is there anyway to find out about all traffic accidents on August 7th in the area?
 
Hospitals:

LDS Hospital in the Avenues.
University of Utah up on the east bench.
St. Marks is another one.
Intermountain Medical Center is the newest trauma center.
Salt Lake Regional Medical Center.
Jordan Valley Medical Center.
Lakeview Hospital.

There are several others further away, as well as a couple that are Pediatric or Psychological only.
These I listed are probably the most likely.
I don't know a way to find out all the traffic accidents, no. But here are some local news sites.

Did he rent a car or was he going to take a shuttle/bus back to the airport?
If there is a rental car also missing I believe they will have GPS... so I'm guessing that's not the case.
So weird... Utah isn't a place people generally go on vacation and disappear.
 
the post in the breaking news thread mentions that a stranger offered him help getting to the airport.. anyone have a source for this info or is this incorrect info? TIA.

At first, I thought missing since the 16th but reread as I was posting and the 6th.
I hope he is found safe soon.
 
I think the most likely scenario is that Rodolphe went somewhere to take photos one last time before going getting on his flight but got lost (e.g. in a forest). Anyone know what time he checked out of hotel and what time flight was set to take off?
 
No news? Cant find anything new in msm, and unfortunately my french isn't very good anymore so the fb page is a tad difficult.

Does anyone know when LE does actual organized outdoor search? Or how to convince them/push them to do one? Few weeks ago when tall bodybuilder was missing in Utah and his beautiful wife with baby were actively appealing everywhere search was done almost immediately and it lasted quite a few days until they found him, unfortunately deceased. I wonder if anything similar could be organized for Rodolphe? It is over a month now that he was last heard from. Pictures on flyers are one of his last ones sent to his son in France. He was in regular contact with family in France until the last day.

Ya know when posting I didn't even note the use of the word "secure"(even after bolding). I was surprised of the outcome a month later. I agree...very interesting indeed.
 
He must have been in a jail or hospital unidentified all this time. That's the only thing that really makes sense.
