The Tillamook County Sheriff's Office is investigating a missing and endangered person complaint reported on August 8.
Deputies say 41-year-old Eric Daniel Prueitt from the Tillamook area has been missing since last month. He was last heard from on July 31.

He's described as a white man, 5'10" and about 150 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair.

The Sheriff's Office says Prueitt goes by the nickname 'Rick', and that his cellphone has been pinged several times, but continues to show no activity since July 27.

The last location provided by the cellphone company, which was east of Cape Meares tower, was searched to no avail.

Deputies say the latest ping showed the phone was turned off.

Family members and investigators are concerned about Prueitt's welfare.

His family members said Prueitt usually takes medication related to a past brain injury, but that he doesn't have that medication and may be confused, disoriented and frustrated. He is physically ill and may appear yellow with jaundice, the family's flyer reads.

Anyone who has seen Eric Pruitt or knows where he is is asked to call the Tillamook County Sheriffs Office at 503- 815-1911.

Jaundice in adults is often indicative of:
alcohol abuse,
liver infection,
liver cancer,
cirrhosis (scarring of the liver, usually due to alcohol),
gallstones (cholesterol stones made of hardened fat material or pigment stones made of bilirubin)

Tillamook County deputies are looking for a 41-year-old man who's been reported missing and may be endangered.

Eric "Rick" Daniel Prueitt was last heard from on July 31 and was reported missing on Aug. 8. Tillamook County deputies said that his cell phone was last used on July 27. His carrier reported the last ping east of Cape Meares tower. Officials have searched that area but not found any clues.

His cell phone is now turned off, deputies said.

Prueitt is 5'10, weighs 150 pounds and has blue eyes and brown hair. Anyone with any information about his whereabouts should call the Tillamook County Sheriff's Office at 503- 815-1911.

Man goes missing in Tillamook

His last known whereabouts were on Twelfth Street and Elm Avenue heading south. Prueitt was wearing only shorts and gray shoes. His top left incisor tooth is missing. Prueitt has a STIHL chainsaw "ripsaw" tattoo on his right forearm and a sun and Native American headdress on his chest.

A source close to Pruiett reported he could be very physically ill.

Eric Daniel Prueitt – The Charley Project

Details of Disappearance
Prueitt was last seen in Tillamook, Oregon on July 31, 2017. He has never been heard from again. His phone has not been used since July 27, and it's since been turned off.

He may have been sighted near the Peter Kleeman Auto Body Shop on August 6. The person resembling Prueitt appeared to be confused, disoriented and frustrated at the time and didn't know who he was or where he was supposed to be.

Due to his state of health, Pruitt is considered endangered. His case remains unsolved.
