FD woman critical after arson fire
Suspect wanted for arson, abuse, attempted murder
A woman found inside her burning Fort Dodge home knew the man wanted for arson, sexual abuse and attempted murder in connection to the case.
The 22-year-old woman was taken from the scene with serious burns, officials and witnesses said.
She was in critical condition at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Monday. Police are not releasing her name because she was a victim of sexual assault.
Police issued arrest warrants Sunday for registered sex offender Sessions Lamont Harper, 34, of 1201 S. 19th St., for attempted murder, third-degree sexual abuse and first-degree arson.
...Two entry teams searched the main floor of the house. Firefighters found the door leading to the basement on a third pass through the home. They heard the woman cry out when they opened the door. The woman’s 3-year-old child wasn’t in the home at the time of the fire.

Oh this makes me so darn mad..............when are they going to realize the registered sex offenders will just go out & do it again......seriously they need to castrate them if they're going to let them walk our streets!
The poor gal has a 3 yr old besides.....
Now the pain & suffering she'll have to endure is horrendous.....massive surgeries & skin grafting. My prayers are with her & her family tonight.
To the judge that let this animal walk free I hope he has nightmares for yrs to come.

Abuse, fire victim may lose arms
FORT DODGE, IA - The pastor of a 22-year-old woman burned in a sexual assault over the weekend said the woman may have both of her arms amputated.
The Rev. Dale Harlow of Northfield Church of Christ in Fort Dodge said the woman's mother reported to him that her daughter was in critical but stable condition.
''She was thinking that they would have to take the right arm and maybe part of the left,'' Harlow said.

That is so sad!
What is it suddenly with the spate of adding arson to the murders? That is showing up on most of the domestic cases and many of the other murders we are seeing?Just when I think that I have seen the most depraved things a human can do to another human, somebody posts a new story...........
Why is it that when a custodial parent fails to provide for a child it is called neglect and is a criminal matter. But when a non custodial parent fails to provide it is called failure to support and is a civil matter?
